November 2010 - Roundball Club Update

Hey Hokies.. here's the latest updated from the Roundball Club (directly from Ann Cassell)!!!

Dear Roundball Club:

The wait is over! Basketball season - and another great year of Roundball Club functions - starts tomorrow!

We will be having a social to kick off the season following the Campbell game tomorrow night in the Bowman Room. This is a great opportunity to bring guests and potential new members and introduce them to the Roundball Club. Please plan to join us and support the team and coaches as we kick off the exciting season ahead!

By now, you should have received a membership renewal form as part of your season ticket mailing. If you did not receive it, you are part of a small portion of season ticket holders whose forms were inadvertently left out of the mailing. A copy of this year's form is available on our web site at http://www.roundball.org.vt.edu/join_roundball.pdf . Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about the renewal process!

Additionally, I wanted to pass along a few announcements regarding away games:

*Tickets are available to the game at UNC-Greensboro on Sunday, November 21st (tipoff at 1 pm). Hokies will be gathering at J. Butler's Restaurant in the Doubletree Hotel at 10:30 am on game day. A number of VT fans are planning to be at the game, so please join us!

*Tickets are available to the UVa game in Charlottesville on Saturday, February 19th (tipoff at 1 pm) through the UVa ticket office. Purchase tickets through the UVa online ticket office here: http://ev12.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventInfo?ticketCode=GS%3AVIRGINIA%3AB10%3AB16%3A&linkID=virginia&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

*Great packages are still available for the team's trip to the Bahamas as part of the inaugural Battle at Atlantis in December. Visit http://www.atlantis.com/promotions/basketball.aspx for more information. It's not too late to plan your trip!

The basketball program's theme for this season is "I'm in. All in." Listed below you will find our Roundball Club social schedule for the upcoming year. I know you all join me in looking forward to the many opportunities we have ahead of us to demonstrate that the Roundball Club is truly ALL IN!

Hope to see you tomorrow night!
GO HOKIES!
